Retirement

    To receive the retirement benefit, the member must submit the following:

  1. Letter of Request addressed to Storebrand
  2. Completed Claim Form
  3. One (2 x 2) photo to be attached to the Claim Form
  4. Copy of valid passport certified by a Notary Public or lawyer
  5. Copy of Seaman’s Documentation Book (Fartsoppgave) or NIS Yellow Book (pages 1-3/5)
  6. Certificate of Employment or service record
  7. Original Membership card or copy of Membership Letter or Statement of Account
  8. Bank Account details containing bank account number, name and address of bank. Settlement can only be made to a bank account under the name of the seafarer.
